Ingredients
2 Eggs
1 Cup Sugar
0.5 Cups Shortening
3-4 Cups Flour
3-4 Tsp Baking Powder
0.5 Tsp Salt
0.5 Cups Milk
0.5 Tsp Vanilla
Preparation
1 Cream together Eggs, Sugar and Shortening
2 Alternately add wet (Milk and Vanilla) and dry (Flour, Baking Powder and Salt)
3 Use the same amount (relatively) of Baking Powder and Flour (i.e. 3 tsp to 3 cups), and aim to make dough that is not too stiff or sticky.
4 Roll out a hunk of dough with a rolling pin, and cut into shapes with whatever cutters, cups, or anything else you have handy.
5 For extra fun, cover cookies with sprinkles or frosting.
6 Place on lightly greased trays, and bake 7-10 minutes at 350°
7 Cool on paper towels and enjoy!
