Christmas Cut-out Cookies

Preparation

  1. Cream together Eggs, Sugar and Shortening
  2. Alternately add wet (Milk and Vanilla) and dry (Flour, Baking Powder and Salt)
  3. Use the same amount (relatively) of Baking Powder and Flour (i.e. 3 tsp to 3 cups), and aim to make dough that is not too stiff or sticky.
  4. Roll out a hunk of dough with a rolling pin, and cut into shapes with whatever cutters, cups, or anything else you have handy.
  5. For extra fun, cover cookies with sprinkles or frosting.
  6. Place on lightly greased trays, and bake 7-10 minutes at 350°
  7. Cool on paper towels and enjoy!
