Ingredients
- 4 Cup Flour
- 2 Tsp Soda
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Cup Oil (Vegetable or Canola is best)
- 1 Cup Shortening
- 2 Cup Sugar
- 2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 4 Cup Rolled Oats
- 2 Tsp Real Vanilla
- 1 Package Chocolate Chips
Preparation
- Sift together the Flour, Soda, Salt and Baking Powder
- Cream the Oil, Shortening, Sugar, and Eggs
- Heat the oven to 350º, then mix together the dry and wet ingredients. Mix well
- Add the rolled oats and vanilla, and mix well. Finally, add the chocolate chips (or raisins, if you prefer). This is the optimal time to begin eating the dough.
- Place spoon-sized balls (see the picture) on oiled baking sheets, with an inch or two around to spare.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees
- Remove, and cool on paper towels, and enjoy!
